PURPOSE: A river bank for delaying a flood of a protected lowland and preserving ecological environment is provided to efficiently suppress or delay the flood of the protected lowland and the collapse of the bank through construction of a bank protection. CONSTITUTION: A river bank for delaying a flood of a protected lowland and preserving ecological environment comprises a plurality of earth-preventative trees (30) and a plurality of batter piles (20). A plurality of the earth-preventative trees is planted on the protected lowland of the river bank is parallelly arranged to the bank in a row. A plurality of the batter piles is embedded into the lower end of a dam body (11) or the adjacent protected lowland to the dam body. The batter piles are cross in the ground and are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the bank. The batter pile moved with the dam body is stopped by the earth-preventative trees, and the movement of soil in the dam body is delayed by the batter pile when the dam body is collapsed. |
