PURPOSE: A device using thermal expansion for preventing a gas range from being overheated is provided to prevent cooking equipment from being overheated by a structural configuration. CONSTITUTION: A device using thermal expansion for preventing a gas range from being overheated comprises a thermocouple(100), an MPU(Multi Processing Unit)(200), and an overheating prevention unit(300). When heat is applied to the thermocouple, the thermocouple generates current. One side of the MPU is connected to one side of the thermocouple. The overheating prevention unit includes; a receiving member(310) which receives oil(10) inside; a first electrode member(330) which is connected to the other side of the thermocouple; and a second electrode member(340) which is connected to the other side of the MPU. |
