A method, a system, and a computer readable memory for receiving from a computing device data associated with a first patient and a second patient, identifying a task associated with the first patient and a task associated with the second patient, and determining that the task associated with the first patient was initiated, paused, and later resumed after performance of at least part of the task associated with the second patient. The method also comprises determining a total time spent on the task associated with the first patient, generating an alert based on the total time, and sending the generated alert to the computing device. The method further comprises, responsive to the first task being complete, determining whether to submit the completed task for payment.
