PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for separating/recovering and removing a radioactive substance from a radioactive contaminant.SOLUTION: A method for separating/recovering a radioactive substance from contaminated water containing the radioactive substance includes adding/mixing a powdered coagulant with the contaminated water, forming an aggregate (flock) containing the radioactive substance, and separating/recovering the formed aggregate from a water phase. In this method, an integrated precipitating/floating device is used preferably in which a floating tub is disposed/configured to surround a precipitating tub so that the precipitating tub is at the center of the floating tub, floating flocks of a light specific weight among the formed flocks can be recovered in the floating tub, and precipitating flocks of a heavy specific weight among the flocks can be recovered in the precipitating tub. |
