PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat recovery device and the like for a vehicle, which can efficiently recover heat from the side of a heat source such as a drive unit and which can suppress a fluctuation in heat input.SOLUTION: A heating system 1 is a heating system for a vehicle. A motor 9 is not only a drive unit of the vehicle but also a part serving as a heat source. A heat receiving unit 19 is brought into contact with the motor 9. More specifically, the heat receiving unit 19 directly receives heat from the motor 9. The heat receiving unit 19 is connected to one end of a heat pipe 7 serving as a heat transporting means. The heat receiving unit 19 of the heat pipe 7 is provided with a cooling path 3 for cooling the heat receiving unit 19. Cooling water and the like are circulated as a heat medium through the cooling path 3. The heat receiving unit 19 is provided with a temperature detection unit 23. The temperature detection unit 23 is a temperature sensor and the like for detecting a temperature of the heat receiving unit 19. The temperature detection unit 23 and a pump 11 are connected to a control unit 25. The control unit 25 controls an operation of the pump 11 on the basis of information from the temperature detection unit 19.
