PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely assist opening of a door against an atmospheric pressure difference generated between the inside and the outside of a room.SOLUTION: An opening power reduction lock comprises a notched part 11 which is formed in a strike plate 5, a sliding member 23 which is provided in the notched part 11 in such a slidable manner that a distal end portion 25 protrudes from the strike plate 5 to a side of a door 3, and includes an abutting part 27 at a position backward from the distal end portion 25 by a predetermined length, an energizing member 33 which energizes the sliding member 23 in a direction where the sliding member protrudes to the side of the door 3, and a pressing body 47 which is provided so as to be movable forward and backward from the door 3 and is abutted to the abutting part 27 when moving forward from the door 3 so as to assist the door 3 in an opening direction. When abutting the pressing body 47 to the abutting part 27, the distal end portion 25 of the sliding member 23 is brought into contact with the door 3. |
