PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress vibration at a low frequency with a large amplitude in the spring upper member of a vehicle and to prevent controlled oscillation, thereby to improve riding quality.SOLUTION: A damper control device controls damping force of a plurality of dampers installed between a spring upper member and the respective spring lower members in a vehicle of a plurality of wheels, by imparting a current or a voltage to a damping force adjusting unit disposed on each of the plurality of dampers. The damper control device includes a vibration level detecting unit 1 which detects a spring upper vibration level Lb and spring lower vibration levels Lw1, Lw2, Lw3, Lw4; a determining unit 2 which determines that a road where the vehicle of the plurality of wheels travel is an undulation good road, based on the spring upper vibration level Lb and the spring lower vibration levels Lw1, Lw2, Lw3, Lw4; and a command value computing unit 4 which determines a current value or a voltage value to be imparted to the damping force adjusting unit 3 based on the spring upper vibration level Lb, when the road is determined as the undulation good road by the above determining unit 2. |
