PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an individual user to purchase a volume-discounted commodity or service at a timing needed by himself without requiring complicated business processing for ensuring payment therefor.SOLUTION: A mediation system includes a right management server apparatus 0110 and discount mediation server apparatus 0120; either one of these apparatuses outputs, to an electronic device 0150 used by a purchaser, coupon information including information specifying a commodity or a service and information required for accounting processing to the purchaser; and the right management server apparatus acquires arbitrary coupon information from the purchaser, and assesses whether the coupon information is authentic and usable; whereby an individual user can purchase a volume-discounted commodity or service by way of simple processing. Further, a mediation system having the above configuration includes a providing-source server apparatus, a providing-source terminal device, a primary mediation server apparatus, a secondary mediation server apparatus, and the like. |
