PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily manufacture a liquid discharge device in which an ink discharge surface is recessed at a part having a nozzle formed therein.SOLUTION: After a nozzle plate having a water-repellent film 19 formed on an ink discharge surface 3a in a state before a nozzle 15 is formed and a plate 35 in which a through hole 13c forming a portion connected to the nozzle 15 of an ink flow passage is formed, are joined to each other, the nozzle 15 of the nozzle plate 36 is formed. Then, a laminated body of the plates 35, 36 is joined to plates 31-34. A slit 17 is formed at a part of the plate 34 overlapped with a nozzle formation part 36a. The plate 35 is joined to the plate 33 disposed on an upper face of the plate 34 through the slit 17 at the part overlapped with the nozzle formation part 36a, and is joined to the plate 34 at other parts. |
