PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet head and an inkjet recording apparatus capable of reducing cost and preventing degradation of print quality.SOLUTION: An inkjet head includes: an actuator substrate provided with a pressure generating chamber; a nozzle plate with a plurality of nozzle holes formed on a nozzle surface to discharge liquid in the pressure generating chamber by a pressure generating means; a common passage substrate provided with a common passage to supply liquid to each pressure generating chamber; and a cover member to cover the periphery of the nozzle surface so that an opening to expose the nozzle holes and the periphery of the nozzle holes is formed. In a predetermined direction, an external dimension La of the actuator substrate, a dimension Lc of the opening of the cover, an external dimension Ln of the nozzle plate, and an external dimension Lm of the common passage substrate, satisfy the following inequalities: La≤Lc<Ln≤Lm. A supporting member is provided in an area surrounded by a surface opposite the nozzle surface of the nozzle plate, a surface on the side of the nozzle plate of the common passage substrate, and outer circumference side surfaces of the actuator substrate, to support the nozzle plate, in contact with the surface opposite the nozzle surface and the surface on the side of the nozzle plate. |
