PURPOSE: A light emitting device is provided to easily diffuse the current supplied to a first semiconductor layer by not overlapping a first electrode formed on a first semiconductor layer and a second electrode formed on a second semiconductor layer. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting structure (160) includes a first semiconductor layer, an active layer, and a second semiconductor layer. An insulating layer (150) is arranged on the first surface of a recess. A first electrode is arranged on at least one of the first surface, a second surface, and the insulating layer. A second electrode (180) is arranged on the second semiconductor layer. A supporting substrate (110) is electrically connected to the first electrode. |
