PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection device capable of detecting particles derived from organisms in real time by use of fluorescent light and by separation from dust emitting fluorescent light.SOLUTION: A detection device 100 comprises: a heating unit 4 for heating air; a detection unit 5 including a light emitting element and a light receiving element; and a measurement unit 72 connected to the light receiving element included in the detection unit 5. The detection unit 5 receives, with the light receiving element, fluorescent light emitted from particles in the air by irradiation from the light emitting element and receives scattering light caused by the particles with other light receiving element to input a signal indicating light receiving amounts thereof to the measurement unit 72. The measurement unit 72 detects particles derived from organisms in the air, based on a fluorescence intensity obtained by a fluorescent light receiving amount, at the light receiving element due to detection at the detection unit 5 for the air that has been heated by the heating unit 4, and a particle size obtain by a scattering light receiving amount. |
