SINGLE CRYSTAL TIN OXIDE WIRE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire which is composed of an inexpensive material having no piezoelectric characteristics and having flexibility and strength against large bending.SOLUTION: In this single crystal tin oxide wire, the whole wire is composed of a single crystal of rutile structure, and the single crystal tin oxide wire has no piezoelectric characteristics. The single crystal tin oxide wire has a diameter of 0.02-3 μm and a length of about 0.001-10 mm. Further, the single crystal tin oxide wire has shape restoration properties to return again to a straight state by removing stress after being bent largely by the addition of the stress.
