PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial-flow hydraulic turbine which can introduce the pressure water of a uniform flow into runner vanes and can reduce a leakage loss to improve efficiency.SOLUTION: An axial-flow hydraulic turbine in this embodiment includes a casing 40 which supplies pressure water from a circumferential direction, a plurality of guide vanes 60 which are provided in the casing 40 to change an opening in the circumferential direction and make the pressure water from the casing 40 pass therethrough, a runner 30 which has a plurality of runner blades 32 and is turned and driven by the pressure water passing through the guide vanes 60, and a suction pipe 90 provided at a downstream side of the runner 30. The guide vanes 60 are disposed obliquely with respect to the center shaft of the runner 30. |
