PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting method for removing a metal core without going through secondary heating.SOLUTION: There is provided a casting method for carrying out casting by pouring molten metal into a cavity formed between a metal mold and a metal core arranged in the metal mold, the casting method being characterized in that: a melting point of the metal core is lower than a congealing point; and a temperature of the metal core and a temperature of the molten metal in pouring are preset so that the metal core may begin to melt after an inner solidified layer is formed, the inner solidified layer nearby a surface contacting the metal mold being solidified from among the molten metals after poured. The metal mold is released after an outer solidified layer is formed with the molten metal after poured being solidified nearby the surface contacting the metal mold, and a casting after mold-released is tilted after the metal core is at least molten nearby a surface contacting the inner solidified layer to let the metal core having been molten flow out by its own weight. |
