TAP WATER STORAGE DEVICE AND TAP WATER SUPPLY METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tap water storage device which allows for easy and sanitary intake of tap water during emergency such as water failure, and a tap water supply method using the tap water storage device.SOLUTION: A tap water storage device 1 includes a primary side supply pipe 3 which leads the tap water into a storage tank 2, a first secondary side supply pipe 5 which leads the tap water led into the storage tank 2 to a faucet 10, a check valve 4 mounted in the primary side supply pipe 3, and a second secondary side supply pipe 6 of which one end is connected to the storage tank 2 and another end is connected to a pipeline of the first secondary supply pipe 5. The second secondary side supply pipe 6 is provided with a selector valve 7 which selects either one of a first state that the second secondary side supply pipe 6 and the first secondary side supply pipe 5 are communicated with each other and a second state that the communication between the second secondary side supply pipe 6 and the first secondary side supply pipe 5 is blocked and the second secondary side supply pipe 6 is open.
