A partition (2) at least in part defines a meeting and work space at least adjacent one side of the table, or around or adjacent at least two sides of the table. There is at least one seat (4) base adjacent the table which is adjustably mounted for adjustment between a sitting position enabling a person or persons to sit on the seat at the table, and a standing position in which the seat is folded up enabling a person or persons to stand at the table between the partition(s) and the table.
