The housing (3) has a hollow body (4) to receive a cylindrical switching element (2), and fixing elements (5a1, 5a2, 5b1, 5b2) for fixing the body on a support (6). Each of the fixing elements includes a fixing part having a bearing surface (S52) on the support and a fixing unit i.e. central hole (53), on the support. The fixing elements include a connection part (51) to connect the fixing part to the body. The connection parts are designed for being in flexion according to a main direction (D2). The body extends along a longitudinal axis (Z4) parallel to the main direction. An independent claim is also included for a switching assembly.
