PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a fire protection device for a door with a simple structure and high sensitivity to heat.SOLUTION: A fire protection device for a door includes: an operation device 2 where an inner cylinder 5 is rotatably fitted into an outer cylinder 6 and a low temperature meltable sensor pin 4 which usually restricts the rotation of the inner cylinder 5 is provided; and a lock 3 which has a lock rod 7 always energized to a projecting direction and a hub 8 linked to the rotation of the lock rod 7. An engaging part 53 of the inner cylinder 5 is engaged with an engaging hole 83 of the hub 8 to connect the operation device 2 and the lock 3, whereby the lock rod 7 is usually held in an unlocked state retreating the lock rod 7. The sensor pin 4 of the operation device 2 is melted or thermally deformed in the case of fire to allow the rotation of the inner cylinder 5, whereby the lock rod 7 automatically projects to be locked. |
