The present invention relates to an indicator module for a dashboard (34), consisting of an electric motor, a mechanical motion-reduction unit, an output shaft (11), a housing (5), and a light source (4). The electric motor is mechanically and electrically connected to a first surface (37) of a printed circuit (3) and drives a visual indicator (1) about an axis of rotation (36) via said reduction unit and the output shaft (11) through the printed circuit (3) such that said indicator (1) provides visual information beyond a second surface (38) of said printed circuit (3). The light source (4) is positioned on the first (37) or second (38) surface of the printed circuit (3) so as to send a light flow toward the axis of rotation (36). The housing (5) has a light case (8), which extends beyond the second surface (38) of the printed circuit (3) and which is formed around the axis of rotation (36) of the visual indicator (1).
