Abstract A light reflector 10 for a luminaire for producing a polygon-shaped light beam. 5 The reflector 10 comprises a plurality of walls 12 inclined at an angle so as to reflect light from a light source through a front aperture 14 of the reflector 10 to form a polygon-shaped beam. Each wall 12 has a plurality of ribs 16 that extend in a generally vertical direction when the reflector 10 is positioned to produce a downwardly directed light beam. The ribs 16 form a plurality of 10 reflective surfaces whereby, in use, light rays from the light source are reflected internally a minimum number of times before passing out through the front aperture 14. 15 Figures to accompany Abstract: Figures 5 and 7 %00 |
