<p>This microchannel chip makes it possible to detect fluorescence emitted in a flow channel at a uniformly high level of detection sensitivity and in an easily reproducible manner through the use of a simple method. A groove-shaped introduction channel (12) and a groove-shaped separation channel (14) are formed on the surface side of a plate-shaped body (11). A microparticle layer (20) comprising sintered microparticles, said microparticles comprising zinc oxide (ZnO) or titanium oxide (TiO2) as the main component thereof and having an average particle diameter of 10-500 nm, is formed on the inner surface of the groove that forms the separation channel (14) formed on the surface of the plate-shaped body (11) of the microchannel chip (10).</p>
