The module (1) has a base element (3) and a diaphragm (5) for holding a rear side and a front side of a display element, respectively. The diaphragm is connected with the base element using a locking element i.e. engagement hook. The base element comprises a flange (9), and a connection unit is arranged between the display element and the base element. A diaphragm side (6) lateral completely encloses the display element in-cooperation with the connection unit and/or the base element. The display element comprises a contact-sensitive surface.
