The pad (1) has a hit surface exhibiting a front side and a retainer (6) for a human hand exhibiting back (4). An acoustic signal transmitter i.e. bell, is inserted into the retainer that is operated by using a hand. An electronic signaling device (12) serves as the signal transmitter. A housing of the signaling device is integrated between the front side and the hit surface. A handle (7) is arranged on or at the housing of the signaling device. An aperture is provided at the front side of the pad.
