PURPOSE: A standby Power saving outlet using a local area network is provided to facilitate the additional registration, deletion, and change of outlets by controlling the standby power of the outlets using an application installed in a portable device. CONSTITUTION: An outlet (20) is connected to a portable device (10) using a local area network including Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. The standby power of the outlet is cut off by the operation of an application installed in a portable device. The outlet in an automatic connection is pairing with the portable device by approaching the portable device after the initial pairing with the portable device using the local network. The outlet is displayed on the outlet list for management in the application. Each outlet is modifiable in names by a user.
