<p>Provided is a content display device, and a content display method, that can display an application that can be used while images are displayed. The content display device is provided with a display control unit for displaying, on a screen, video and a user interface for an application. The display control unit divides a screen into a first region in which video is displayed reduced, a second region in which a list of applications is displayed, and a third region in which is displayed detailed information about the application selected from among applications, and the display control unit superimposes the second region and the third region. In the operation state of an application list, an application list is displayed in the third region. In the operation state of an application display screen list, the application display screen list is displayed in the second region.</p> |
