As for a lens 22 composing a pickup lens unit light-emitting face, a light-emitting face 22A when viewed from an optical axis 40ax direction is in a shape of rotation symmetry with the optical axis 40ax as a center, and furthermore, a shape of a cross section of the light-emitting face 22A as cut by a plane parallel to the optical axis 40ax is a shape of a cross section of an aspherical surface, and this means that the lens 22 is an aspherical lens. The light-emitting face 22A of the aspherical lens has a function to emit light Lc emitted from the center of the solid-state light source device 10, parallel in a region near the optical axis 40ax, and in a manner converging to a side of the optical axis 40ax in a region far from the optical axis 40ax.
