This power distribution system (100) is provided with a solar cell (10), and with a switch (12) which, in the path connecting a storage battery (14) and a bidirectional power conditioner (16) converting between DC and AC power, has one end connected to the solar cell (10) and the other end connected to the storage battery (14) and the bidirectional power conditioner (16), and which, when the storage battery (14) is being overcharged, blocks the path between the storage battery (14) and the solar cell (10).
