摘要 PURPOSE: An optimal method of coagulant input rate in real time is provided to minimize coagulant usage because the coagulant input rate is determined based on the phosphorus removal performance of a coagulant having a specific phosphorus removal amount per 1 ppm in waste water. CONSTITUTION: An optimal method of coagulant input rate in real time comprises the steps of: (a) setting the target phosphorus concentration (ET) of discharged water; (b) producing a first sample by filling waste water in a filtration bath; (c) filtering suspended solids of the first sample in the filtrate bath and filling the waste water in a jar bath to produce a second sample; (d) measuring the waste water phosphorus concentration (P3) of the first sample having no suspended solids; (e) emptying the filtration bath; (f) inserting a coagulant with determined coagulant input quantity (JDQO) into the jar bath to mix with the coagulant having the second sample and stir the mixture; (g) dropping the second sample having the coagulant in the jar bath on the filtration bath; (h) measuring the coagulant sample phosphorus concentration (JP) after filtering suspended solids in the second sample with the coagulant in the filtration bath; (i) repeating from the (b) step to (h) step after emptying the filtration bath and the jar bath; (j) calculating the coagulant real efficiency (CD) in comparison with the coagulant input rate (JDR) by finding the difference between the coagulant sample phosphorus concentration (JP) and the waste water phosphorus concentration (P3); (k) calculating the practical coagulant input rate (CIR) necessary for the target phosphorus concentration (ET) based on the coagulant real efficiency (CD); and (l) injecting the coagulant according to the inflow of the waste water, from which phosphorus concentration has to be removed, based on the above-mentioned practical coagulant input rate (CIR).
