PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overcurrent protection device with reduced cost of manufacture.SOLUTION: An overcurrent protection device 10 connected with a battery control unit C to protect the battery control unit C from an overcurrent, has a fusing member 16 having: a fuse 17; and an easy-fusing electric wire 18 connected in series to the fuse 17 and consisting of a conductor with a melting point lower than that of copper, and whose fusing current value is set to be larger than that of the fuse 17. The fusing member 16 is connected in series to the battery control unit C.
