PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording and reproducing device that enables a viewer to move a program matching his or her taste without preparing a recording medium as a movement destination.SOLUTION: A program recording section includes an HDD1 and an HDD2 as two recording means, and counts the number of times of reproduction of a program recorded in the HDD 1 (S12) and stores the program name and the number of times of reproduction (S13) when the program is reproduced (S11: YES). When the number of times of reproduction reaches or exceeds the predetermined number of times (S14: YES), the free capacity of the HDD 2 is calculated (S15) and when the reproduced program can be moved to the HDD 2 (S16: YES), the program is moved from the HDD1 to the HDD2 (S18). |
