The method involves supplying a fabric and/or a fabric composite, arranging a solar cell arrangement on the fabric, and pressing the solar cell arrangement to the fabric by a tool. Liquid resin is injected into the tool such that the solar cell arrangement with the fabric is glued to rough parts. The rough parts are removed from a mold. The rough parts are coated with a protective layer, so that a smooth, seamless rough part surface is formed. Edges of a raw part are post-processed to obtain a component i.e. outer body part, of a motor vehicle. |
