High resistance steel comprises (in wt.%): carbon (0.03-0.7); silicon (= 0.49); manganese (2.5-4), where manganese is greater than 3 wt.%, when carbon is less than 0.2 wt.%; nickel (= 0.9); chromium (1-5); molybdenum and tungsten/2 (= 1); copper (= 0.9); sulfur, selenium/2 and tellurium/3 (less than 0.020); and aluminum (= 0.1), and the rest is iron and impurities.
