RANGE FINDING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A distance measuring system is provided to expand the range of a measuring distance, reduce errors and simplify the composition of a circuit. CONSTITUTION: A ranging controlling device communicates with a host controlling device. A transmitting part communicates with the ranging controlling device. A receiving part communicates with the ranging controlling device. When a host controlling device transmits a start signal to the ranging controlling device, the ranging controlling device recognizes the start signal for generating a start pulse and delivering to the transmitting part. The transmitting part transmits an optical signal to a target after receiving the start pulse while simultaneously generating a standard pulse for transmitting to the receiving part.
