PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive circuit for liquid crystal display device in which the area of the entire integrated circuit is made small by simplifying a circuit configuration, and the current consumption of the entire circuit reduced. SOLUTION: The drive circuit for liquid crystal display device controls through a controller, a segment drive circuit driving pixel columns in the scanning direction, according to display data and a common drive circuit selecting and driving a scanning line in each scanning period so as to display an image on a matrix-type liquid crystal panel, and includes a common voltage selecting circuit for supplying a source voltage to the common drive circuit. The common voltage selecting circuit has a circuit configuration in which a voltage supply line is eliminated. This common drive circuit, to which a liquid crystal drive voltage is supplied from the common voltage selecting circuit, can be simplified of the circuit configuration.
