Method for differentiating a XIII factor and fibrinogen deficiency states by means of thrombelastographic engineering

Thrombelastograph relevant factors deficiency determining method involves comparing predetermined thrombelastograph (TEG) parameters in presence of inhibitors of corresponding thrombelastograph relevant factor with another predetermined thrombelastograph parameters in the absence of the inhibitors. A predetermined thrombelastograph parameter in the presence of activators is compared with thrombelastograph parameters in the absence of the activators. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a method of differentiating a factor XIII deficiency condition and a fibrinogen deficiency condition (2) use of a method for determining the deficiency of thrombelastograph relevant factors for decision making over purposeful substitution of a missing or small thrombelastograph relevant factors; and (3) a test kit containing a component for executing a method of determining the deficiency of thrombelastograph relevant factors.
