The invention relates to the rail transport in the field of loading and unloading at a port, in particular, to unloading massive bulk (coal, grain) cargo from gondola cars and hopper cars of trains and transshipment on a vessel bypassing a warehouse. The method of loading and unloading at a port differs from the known analogues in that a pier is preliminarily built that is placed over the vessel's hold, while on the pier the rails are placed, on which a train moves consisting of gondola cars and hopper cars. Transshipment of grain, fertilizers or coal is carried on the vessel from the gondola cars and hopper cars of train directly into the hold of vessel from the pier bypassing the warehouse, while the gondola cars and hopper cars are moved on the pier in the reciprocating direction providing even distribution of cargo in the hold of vessel during transshipment. Effect: the disclosed method can reduce the timetable for loading and unloading operations, reduce costs for storage and transportation of coal, fertilizers due to blowing, washing out in the open port areas, improve the ecological status of the port, exclude damage by slings of car body, ensure ease of technology. |
