The present invention refers to a pharmaceutical formulation that contains liquid extracts of S. babylonica, L. leucocephalia and the mixture of both extracts (1:1, v/v) for treating parasitic diseases in sheep, where the active agents are the metabolic compounds in tables 1, 2 and 3; and figures from 1 to 20. The process for obtaining said extracts attains a substantial increase in the concentration of the active compounds, additionally allowing liquid extracts to be prepared, which due to the transparent appearance thereof has a higher acceptance by sheep and is practical. The pharmaceutical formulation of the present invention produces an antihelmintic effect higher than the extracts reported in the state-of-the-art and without the side effects of the drugs currently used in the treatments of the parasitic disease in sheep.
