A unit for transporting and cleaning tuberous roots has a feed conveyer, a roller cleaning block, consisting of pairs of rollers, which counter-rotate, driving scattering brushes and an unloading conveyer. The roller cleaning block has a jug-like shape in the longitudinal cross-section and consists of three parts, of which that upper and that lower are formed by rollers of the same diameter, and that middle - by rollers of a lesser diameter, inside of which two driving blade beaters are arranged. The upper part of the cleaner has two wire combs, having counter directions of rotational movements, under which two vertical belt conveyers, the outer branches of the belts of which have motions, directed downwards, are arranged. |
