PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing aluminum composite particles high in yield when added to paper and capable of improving whiteness of paper while restraining increase in slurry thickness.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of manufacturing aluminum composite particles having a compounding process in which aluminum oxide is compounded with calcium carbonate particles. In the compounding process, it is preferable to add an aluminum salt to a slurry of calcium carbonate particles. It is preferable that the aluminum salt is sodium aluminate. It is preferable to add before the compounding process a particle coagulating process in which calcium carbonate particles are coagulated with a coagulant. |
