PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the effect of gravity acting on a mover of a vibration generating means of a vibration control device by means of a cover body covering the vibration generating means.SOLUTION: When a vibration generating means 15 supported on a spindle 14 vertically standing on a vibration body 11 vibrates a mover 17 vertically with respect to a stator 16 fixed on the spindle 14, reaction force generated on the spindle 14 is transmitted to the vibration body 11 so as to exert damping effect. A cover body 27 covering the vibration generating means 15 includes: a first fixation part 27a fixed to the upper part of the spindle 14; a second fixation part 27b fixed to the periphery of the mover 17; and a first stretching part 27d in an annular shape which connects the first and second fixation parts 27a, 27b and is vertically telescopic. Consequently, the mover 17 is lifted upward vertically with the cover body 27 to offset the effect of gravity while the vibration generating means 15 is protected from heat, water and dust with the cover body 27. As a result, degradation of thrust efficiency of the vibration generating means 15 can be prevented, which is not all but a tuning range of the vibration generating means 15 can be extended with the elasticity of the cover body 17. |
