PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an utterer with information for smoothly progressing a conference.SOLUTION: A retrieval means control device includes: a conversion unit that converts speech information of speech uttered by an utterer, into character information; a selection unit that selects specific character information from the character information on the basis of importance of the utterer; and a result output unit that causes retrieval means that retrieves information relating to the input character information, to output a retrieval result by the retrieval means on an output unit for outputting the specific character information selected by the selection unit and a display device for displaying the retrieval result.
