PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that waste liquid entering a gap between a nozzle surface and a nozzle surface protection member cannot be reduced while reducing the number of components.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge head includes: a nozzle plate 2 in which a plurality of nozzles 1 discharging liquid droplets are formed; a flow channel member 3 forming a plurality of individual liquid chambers 6 in communication with the nozzles 1; and a frame member 17 covering outer circumferential surfaces of the nozzle plate 2 and the flow channel member 3. The frame member 17 includes a protecting portion 18 covering a peripheral edge portion of a surface 2a of the nozzle plate 1, where the protecting portion 18 is made molten and adhered to the surface 2a of the nozzle plate 2. |
