<p>A fiber-reinforced resin manufacturing method in which resin is injected into a reinforcing-fiber substrate arranged in a forming die from an injection inlet provided so as to open in a direction facing the surface of the reinforcing-fiber substrate, and the resin is then impregnated in the reinforcing-fiber substrate. The fiber-reinforced resin manufacturing method is characterized by the formation of a gap for an injected-resin transit passage in the reinforcing-fiber substrate in the forming die by at least partially removing in advance a section of the reinforcing-fiber substrate disposed directly below the injection inlet in the thickness direction of the reinforcing-fiber substrate, and the resin that is injected from the injection inlet being impregnated in the reinforcing-fiber substrate via the gap for the injected-resin transit passage. Forming, in advance, the gap for the injected-resin transit passage at the position of the reinforcing-fiber substrate directly below the injection inlet enables the inhibition of the surface of the reinforcing-fiber substrate being pressed down by the injected resin, and enables the resin layer on the surface to be reduced, resulting in the maintenance of superior productivity while improving the design properties of the surface of molded articles.</p> |
