摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerating apparatus configured to prevent unnecessary increase in amount of refrigerant returning to a two-stage compressor and repetition of operation and stop of the two-stage compressor.SOLUTION: A refrigerating apparatus R includes an intermediate heat exchanger 40 which supercools refrigerant flowing thereinto after passing through a gas cooler 30 with refrigerant decompressed by an expansion valve 35 after passing through the gas cooler 30. The refrigerating device also includes: a rotating speed control means C which controls a rotating speed of an electric motor 19 of a two-stage compressor 11; a low-pressure detection sensor 48 which detects a pressure of refrigerant sucked into a low-stage side suction port 15 of the two-stage compressor 11; and a control means C which controls a valve opening degree of the expansion valve 35 for adjusting a supercooling degree of the intermediate heat exchanger 40. The control means C reduces the valve opening degree of the expansion valve 35 when a detection value of the low-pressure detection sensor 48 is equal to or lower than a predetermined threshold that is smaller than a lower limit value of a control target value, and the rotating speed of the electric motor 19 falls within a predetermined low rotating speed range, regardless of a target value of the supercooling degree of the intermediate heat exchanger.
