PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection film having as a substrate a polylactic acid-based film or sheet which has a tear strength not causing breakage and split, when producing the protection film, when processed, when wound in a roll-like state, or the like, and is not melted or deformed even at a high temperature exceeding 100°C.SOLUTION: A protection film includes a removable adhesive layer on at least one side of the substrate, wherein the substrate is a polylactic acid-based film or sheet which comprises polylactic acid (A) and has a tear strength of ≥100 N/mm, when torn at least in a flow direction (MD direction), a thermal dimensional change rate within ±3% in the flow direction (MD direction) and in the width direction (TD direction), and a thermal load dimension change rate of within ±3% in the flow direction (MD direction). |
