PURPOSE: An in-wheel motor for a vehicle is provided to cool upper and lower parts uniformly by forming a cooling groove, thereby preventing the torsion of a housing. CONSTITUTION: In the inside of an in-wheel motor housing (10), an in-wheel motor is installed. The housing is formed in a cylindrical shape. The outer circumference (11) of the housing has a stepped shape. A cooling groove (12) is formed in the outer circumference. The cooling groove inclines based on a horizontal plane.
