PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provides an electric power steering device that can perform assist control without a sense of incompatibility, by suppressing a behavior of steering assistance by calculating an assistable current by referring to a current restriction map according to the passage of the time that decreased more than an assist operable voltage, even if a power supply voltage changes intensely, and continuing assist with a limited condition based on the assistable current.SOLUTION: An electric power steering device includes: a power supply voltage detecting part that detects power supply voltage, while performing driving control of a motor through a drive control part that includes an FET bridge based on an assist amount; and a power supply voltage monitoring part that determines a power supply voltage detection value detected by the power supply voltage detection part. The electric power steering device continues assist control in assist continuance allowance time by using drivable characteristics to decide assist continuance allowance time of FETs that compose the FET bridge, when the power supply voltage monitoring part determines that the power supply voltage detection value is not more than the assist operable power supply voltage. |
