PURPOSE: A scribe tip replacing apparatus of a mechanical scriber is provided to improve accuracy of replacing operation by automatically a scribe tip installed on a scribe head. CONSTITUTION: A scribe head(20) is transferred by a head transport unit. The scribe head comprises a tip holder(24) and a scribe tip(25). A tip replacement unit(100) is installed at the lower side of the scribe head. The tip replacement unit rotates the scribe tip which is screwed to the tip holder. The tip replacement unit separates the scribe tip from the tip holder. The tip replacement unit is comprised of a grip transport tool and a tip replacement tool.
