PURPOSE: A method for issuing a check card using an ATM and a device thereof are provided to enable a client to quickly reissue the check card through an ATM associated with a bank server without visiting a bank clerk. CONSTITUTION: A check card reissue request processing unit(110) receives the existing personal information related to an existing check card. The check card reissue request processing unit confirms the authentication of a user and the conditions for reissuing the check card. A check card issuing unit(120) receives new personal information for applying for a new check card. The check card issuing unit generates the new check card based on the new personal information. |
